Tourist information centre has opened in Lõunakeskus

18 October / Starting this week, tourists visiting Tartu will be able to obtain tourism related information from the tourist information centre now open in Lõunakeskus, in addition to the Raekoja plats (Town Hall Square) Visitor Centre.

An information specialist from the Tartu County Tourism Foundation is available in the tourist information centre to answer questions and share information relating to tourism in the city and county of Tartu, and a series of publications introducing the region will also be offered there. It will also be possible to obtain tickets for cultural events and Lõunakeskus gift cards from the tourist information centre.

The tourist information centre is open at the following times:

Tues–Thurs, 13.30–19.00
Fri 12.00–19.00
Sat 10.00–19.00
Sun 10.00–18.00
Monday closed

Maps of the city as well as introductory materials for the region are also available from the Lõunakeskus information specialist outside of the hours of operation of the tourism information centre.

The Lõunakeskus tourism information centre is aimed primarily at tourists moving about by car or bus, who find it difficult to access the Visitor Centre located in the city centre.
