New Year’s Eve fireworks display to last for seven minutes in Tartu

27 декабря / This year's New Year’s Eve fireworks display in Tartu will last for seven minutes.
During this time 6544 shots will be fired into the sky, exploding as different effects at a height of 180 metres.
The fireworks will be launched from their traditional location: the green area between Atlantis and Victory Bridge. The best locations from which to view the fireworks are: Vabaduse Avenue, the banks of the River Emajõgi on the Town Hall Square side, or from the hill at Theatre Vanemuine.
The fireworks display will cost the city EUR 4980 and is being organised by Ilutulestiku Keskus Arnika OÜ, which submitted the best tender during the procurement.
