Tartu to organise an auction for the right of superficies for the construction of a swimming pool

8 октября / The Tartu City Government has decided to organise a public auction for establishing a right of superficies for the registered immovable located at Riia tn 195. The winner of the auction will be required to build a water park and swimming pool on the 24,044 square metre registered immovable located between Lõunakeskus and the Tartu Science Park.
Following the conclusion of the contract, the winner of the auction will have a period of five years to complete the construction of a building complex, covering an area of at least 5000 square metres, in which there is a swimming pool and water park. The park must have at least one 25 metre, eight-lane pool, along with auxiliary premises and administrative rooms serving the swimming pool. An architectural competition must be organised for the construction of the swimming pool and water park.
The criteria for the assessment of the right of superficies is the annual fee for the right of superficies, with the starting price being EUR 16,380 per year.
The term of the right of superficies is 50 years.
The auction will take place in the Osta.ee auction environment. A notice regarding the auction will be published in Osta.ee and on the City of Tartu homepage www.tartu.ee.
