Tartu City Government Press Release

15 мая / The swimming pool at the Aura Centre will open on 25 May, with the Water Park and Health Club set to open on 1 June.

Even though the government decision permits swimming pools to open on 18 May, Aura Centre will be opening one week later, since annual repairs, which are usually conducted in July, are being finished up.

According to Kairit Matto, Director of Aura Centre, the emergency situation was used to perform annual summer repairs a bit sooner. ‘By doing so, we will now be able to keep the centre open to visitors throughout the month of July’, added Matto.

Kairit Matto emphasised that Aura Centre looks forward to its clients returning, but it must be kept in mind that the centre will be operating under limited conditions. Visitors must follow the 2+2 rule and hygiene requirements, and anyone experiencing symptoms of illness should definitely not visit the centre. Restrictions on the number of visitors must also be taken into consideration. ‘People tend to engage in lengthy conversations in locker rooms and by the side of the pool, but right now we are asking visitors to only use the centre for its intended purpose', specified Matto.

Clients are welcome at the Aura Centre at normal times. More information:  www.aurakeskus.ee
