16 September / Registration has begun for the numerous public events taking place from 7–12 October, during Tartu Entrepreneurship Week. The moto for this year’s Entrepreneurship Week is 'A Step Towards Your Dreams’.

Taking place throughout the week are competitions, seminars, workshops, conferences and information days, with educational games being organised and companies visited.

The goal of Entrepreneurship Week is to introduce entrepreneurship as a way of life, acknowledging and celebrating the role of the entrepreneur in the development of the city, encouraging people to engage in entrepreneurship, promoting cooperation between the city and companies, and encouraging entrepreneurship among young people.

Entrepreneurship events are open to everyone – from school children to already operating entrepreneurs. The week is being coordinated by the Entrepreneurship Department of the Tartu City Government.

Nearly all of Tartu’s 80 Entrepreneurship Week events are free for participants.

It is possible to register for and review the programme being offered during Entrepreneurship Week on the homepage of the Entrepreneurship Department of the Tartu City Government: https://www.tartu.ee/et/ettevotlusnadal.

Entrepreneurship Week has been organised since 2005. Each year the number of offered events and participants has grown. Last year, nearly 3700 people visited Tartu during Entrepreneurship Week and were offered more than 70 entrepreneurship themed events.
