Tartu tourism website Visittartu.com to receive an update
Tartu County Tourism Foundation
30 June / The Tartu County Tourism Foundation has concluded a contract for development and design work on the website Visittartu.com with OÜ Wiseman Interactive, winner of the public procurement.
The goal of the new tourism website is to be a convenient assistant to tourists as well as local residents, and to offer flexible and up-to-date solutions for getting to know Tartu.
The tourism webpage, with its modern and mobile friendly design, will also be translated into six languages. The main data will be taken over from Estonia’s official tourism information website Puhkaeestis.ee, although several functions will be created to provide added value, with the most important being a map application, an interface with the soon to be completed culture portal Kultuuriaken (Window of Culture), and various possibilities for entering other important tourism sector related information.
The development and design work on the new tourism page, together with the Estonian, Russian and English language content, will be ready for peak tourism season next year.
