Inoculations available this weekend from the vaccination bus in the city centre of Tartu

4 August / In cooperation between the City of Tartu, Tartu University Clinic, and the Tartu Ambulance Foundation, the vaccination bus will be located next to the Kaubamaja department store in the city centre of Tartu, where anyone interested can receive a vaccination against COVID-19.
A Tartu city bus has been adapted for administering vaccinations, where those wishing to can receive a protective injection from Friday–Sunday, i.e. from 12:00–20:00 on 6–8 August. The Pfizer vaccine is being administered. Appropriate conditions for vaccination have been created in the bus, and in the adjacent waiting and monitoring area. Vaccination is being organised by the vaccination team from the Tartu University Clinic, and 15 minutes of regular post-vaccination monitoring is ensured by medics from the Tartu Ambulance Foundation. The bus is located next to the Tartu Kaubamaja department store, in the same spot where many city residents are accustomed to seeing and visiting the clinic’s mammography bus.
In August, the Tartu vaccination centre (at Ihaste tee 7, A. Le Coq Sport Sports Hall) will also be open, where anyone from the age of 12 can also be vaccinated against COVID-19. Vaccinations will be administered at the Tartu vaccination centre without prior registration until the end of August, during the centre’s opening hours of 10.00–18.00. You can also continue to make appointments via the National eBooking system, by telephoning the state’s helpline at 1247, and by telephoning the Tartu University Hospital’s pre-registration centre at 731-7200 (Mon–Fri 08.00–18.00).
