Residents of Tartu able to choose the best buildings from the previous year

21 June / Residents of Tartu will also have the opportunity to take part in the competition for choosing the best buildings of the year in Tartu this year and choose their favourite new buildings and renovated buildings that received an authorisation for use in 2020.

You can vote until 27 June on the City of Tartu’s website (www.tartu.ee/parimehitis2020). You can choose from 18 buildings or groups of buildings, including new and renovated buildings, as well as private houses, apartment buildings and public buildings.

Recognition of both the people’s favourite house and that of the jury in various categories will be handed over on Tartu City Day, 29 June, at the Lodjakoda.

The Tartu City Government has been organizing the competition for the best building since 1999. The competition looks at all of the buildings that received an authorisation for use in Tartu during the previous year, with the aim of the competition being to value high-quality design and construction in Tartu, which is born in good cooperation between the customer, the designer and the builder.
